Application
A heating mechanism to keep the temperature of the hazardous waste gases flowing in collection pipes at a certain high temperature.  The waste gases generated in chemical reactions in the fabrication equipment go through the pipes to the removal devices.  The temperature in the pipes needs to stay above 80°C to keep the gases from liquifying in the pipes.

For ease of maintenance, the heating mechanism is divided into serial sections.  Each section can be replaced separately in case it is out of order.

Solution
This heating tube module, containing fuse and thermostat in a small hump, is used in keeping chemical gas pipes hot.  Flat silicone rubber material is baked into a cylinder shape.  The dimensions are customized to meet the specific pipe size.

Electric power cords are hidden in the connection socket for easy handling.  As silicone rubber is elastic, one can pull open cylinder shape to curved shape without any tool, then clip-on to the gas pipe to install the heater.
